Jeffrey tapler obituary – At the age of 61, Jeffrey J. Tapler, known to his family and friends as “Uncle Jeffrey,” passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown on October 3, 2022. This Saturday, October 8, will mark the end of his nearly 35-year marriage to Sharon A. Fair-Tapler, who was his wife. He passed away earlier this week. He was the son of William F. Tapler and Marie S. (Diehl) Tapler, both of whom passed away, and was born in Allentown.
He was a member of the Zionsville congregation of the Upper Milford Mennonite Church. In the past, he served as the Chief of Police for the municipality of L. Milford Twp. He also spent many years working as a law enforcement officer for a variety of local departments, including Macungie, Emmaus, Salisbury Twp., and Coopersburg. Additionally, he held the position of EMA Director in Salisbury Twp. In addition to running his own answering service, he worked as a radio dispatcher for the county. The weekend polka music and Pennsylvania Dutch shows that Uncle Jeffrey hosted on the local cable television channel cwtap.tv will live on in our memories forever.
Jeff Tapler was a member of a group of people who worked to keep the residents of the Lehigh Valley safe, and many of those people are in mourning over his passing.
According to a message that was posted on Tapler’s website, he passed away on Monday due to complications from his cancer treatment.
He spent many years in the field of law enforcement, serving as an officer with a variety of departments, a radio dispatcher for the county, and ultimately as the police chief of Lower Milford Township.
He could look back on 79 years of experience. Guy was born in the town of Caro, which is located within the state of Michigan, on October 23, 1942. Guy Jeffrey was the son of the late Harold and Norma Jeffrey, but sadly, both of his parents passed away prior to his birth. After graduating from T.L. Handy High School in 1960 and completing his high school education, he attended Delta College in Bay City to further his education. After graduating from Delta College, he received his diploma. In 1962, he began his employment at The F.P. Horak Company, where he was employed by the individual who would go on to become his future father-in-law. His superior was named Frederick Paul Horak. Fred Horak’s company, F.P. Horak, was the one that was ultimately acquired.
